With most of the world on lockdown. People are forced to stay home to do their part in slowing down the corona virus. It is a tough time for everyone in the world right now and we are all making sacrifices. Staying home and having all this extra time can be difficult and the boredom can be overwhelming. Lets use this time to be productive and learn a skill you may have been looking to master. When we come out of this lockdown, you will have a brand new skill.

We have compiled a master list of companies offering their educational courses for free during the Covid-19 crisis. We are listing courses that are normally paid courses but the fee is waived during this time.

Blueprint – Blueprint is a educational website with a focus on learning crafts such as quilting, sewing, crocheting, drawing, painting, woodworking. Food crafts such as cake decorating and many more. Udacity – Udacity offers online tech courses such as Data engineer, programming, analytics for business and MANY more. Their courses give you actual college credits. They are offering free access for one month. Learn higher paying, employable skills from home


ABCMouse – A learning program that is designed for kids aged 2-8. Perfect for kids who are quarantined and cannot go to school. Normally this program is $79.99 per year. Kids love ABCMouse. Kids don’t neccessarily see it as learning, or a boring classroom. They design the program as a fun game or adventure or captivating story. Coursera – Build skills with courses, certificates, and degrees online from world-class universities and companies. They are offering a selection of courses. DuoLingo – Learn any language for free. They make it pretty easy and fun to learn. I studied there Spanish program and felt fairly comfortable speaking it after a day or two of studying. This is normally a free program but we wanted to list it, as learning a new language is a great thing and a easy way to kill a few hours a day. duolingo.com
